May 9th: Theatre In the Park (TiP) 2007. We will be performing You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (revised) and The Taffetas. The Taffetas is similar to Forever Plaid, with four females singing songs from the fifties in close harmony.  The cast list will be announced shortly.

June 23rd:  NH Magazine voted New Thalian Players Theatre In The Park best Alfresco Theatre 2006.  From www.NH.comThe New Thalian Players’ outdoor productions at Veteran’s Park in Manchester. More than 10,000 came to see “Grease” last year (OK, it was free admission, but donations collected actually allowed the Players to chalk up a profit). This year’s production of “Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” should be bigger still — a sure sign of the cultural renaissance in Manch.

This is the second annual outdoor summer Theatre In The Park production for New Thalian Players. Last year's GREASE was a huge success and was named one of NH's BEST SHOWS of 2005 by HippoPress!  Don't miss this years show!

Feb 4th: NTP had a very positive presence at the 4th Annual NH Theatre Awards. NTP actor nominee finalists included Joe Vago, Katherine Robinson, and Barbara Webb for their roles in "The Underpants"Betty Thomson won the award for Best Costume Design, Community Theatre for "The Underpants"

New Thalian Players and Community Players of Concord won the award for Best Community Original Revue or Musical for "Wicked Songs Your Mother Never Taught You"

February 10th: After much thought, the NTP Board has chosen the new comedy adaptation of "The Underpants" by Steve Martin for its Spring production. The show will be directed by Bill Hartery.

Auditions will be held February 20th and 21st (Sunday & Monday) from 6pm - 8pm at NTP's new offices at 300 Bedford Street, Bldg “B”, 2nd floor Manchester, NH.  Click HERE for directions

October 26th: Sad news today, at 2:20am CST Lacy Long's mother passed away.  She died one month to the day of her 88th birthday. Lacy has asked that her life to be celebrated more than her passing to be mourned.  Funeral services will be this week in Hopkinsville, KY

October 11th: Thank you to everyone who helped make the 1944 Big Band Comedy Canteen a great success!  Special thanks to Candy Brehm, Betty Thomson, and Adam Boroskas for making this show happen!  We could not have done it without you.
August 13th: Our Annual Facepainting Fundraiser at Mill City Festival was again a success!  Huge thank you's to Adrienne Guidoboni (Jackson), Jack Trommer, and Dick Marshall for their great efforts over the past weekend. 

We wish to extend our thanks to our other face painters - Beth Champange, Lindsay Peterson, Tajoura Davis, Fran White, Carolyn Connely, Mary Lanzillotti and Joe Hannaford.  We couldn't do this without the support of our members.  Also thank you to the Mill City Festival coordinators for allowing us to run this event!

August 18th: The Community Players of Concord will be presenting the New Thalian Players benefit performances of the 1944 Big Band Comedy Canteen at the Concord City Auditorium in Concord NH, on October 8th, 9th, & 10th.  Tickets are $15 and $12 for Seniors. Click HERE for details

July 15, 2004 @ 9:47pm: Anne Young & Adam Young welcomed their beautiful, perfect little son, Luke Kwiatek Young, into the world at 9:47pm on Thursday evening, July 15th. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces, and measured 19 1/2 inches long. Mother and son are doing beautifully.  Congrats to the Anne & Adam!

The TechMate Award was presented on behalf of the entire Ensemble - Cast & Crew.  Special Thanks to Nelson LeMay, Tyler Whitney, Scott Cocchiaro, Jack Trommer, John Campanello, George Piehl, Andrea Deachman, and Pat Napolitano - and the rest of the Cast and Crew.  Great work everyone!

Sept 29th: The set build for Saturday 10/4 has been cancelled because the Palace Theatre needs the space for an emergency build.  Set builds are still scheduled for every following Saturday.

Sept 26th: Set Build begins Saturday Sept 27th, from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the New Warehouse at 150 Dow Street in Manchester NH.  The builds continue every Saturday until Tech Week.

Sept 19th: Cast of BLWIT Brian Burke, our Stage Manager, will be sending weekly emails with Sunday rehearsal schedules.  If you are not receiving the emails, please email Brian and let him know.

Sept 6th: Thank You to everyone who donated items for the Yard Sale.  Even with the rains, we were able to raise just over $200 for the day.  Special thanks to Lindsay Peterson, Anne Young, Lacy Long, and Debbie Comire for working the day.  And to Brian Burke and Joe Vago for supplying and cooking breakfast and lunch.

Sept 4th: NTP is holding a Yard Sale Fundraiser on Sunday Sept 14th.  Donated items are very much needed.  Please email Joe Vago if you have anything that can be sold.  Thanks in advance for any help!

June 18th: Saturday's warehouse-to-warehouse move is complete!  All of NTP's and the Palace's theatre items have been moved.  First, a big thank you to the great team managers - it could not have happened without you!  We were wet, sweaty, tired, and hungry.  But no one quit!  Even people who had events planned, or had to work, stopped by to help for a few hours.  Thank You!

May 31st: NTP and the Palace Theatre needs your help on June 15th to move costumes, props, tools and more to the new warehouse space.

May 30th: NTP and the Palace Theatre will be sharing warehouse space.  which will give more storage space and a place to build sets! 

May 29th: The 1944 show was a huge hit. Thanks to a spectacular cast, and a one of a kind director.
