Board Tenure and other Information

New Thalian Players Board of Directors tenure runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following year, for a 2 years of office.  If you are interested in being on the Board of Directors or taking an Chair or Manager position email us at WebMaster@NewThalianPlayers.org or contact a Board member.

NTP By-Laws define the requirements for a 9-member panel or Board to serve and conduct the business of NTP. Key functions include setting forth organizational Policies & Procedures in a standardized fashion, monitoring and providing guidance for NTP's programs, production's, and services, ensuring adequate resources and financial responsibility for NTP's programs, production's, and services, enhancing NTP's public image, and finally, a "court of appeal" regarding policy matters.

NTP Board members typically serve on the board for a two year term. However, by plan, each year 4 or 5 seats will become available for selection, nomination and election of voting members.  Members, willing to obligate themselves and dedicate their time and energy to serve in this capacity, should advise the Board and/or Nominating committee prior to May/June of any year.
